VoxOx is an all-in-one application that offers a simple and direct way to communicate with your family and friends on the web. With this application we can manage our email accounts, IM clients, share files, access our social network accounts, with the addition of VOIP, SMS and videoconferencing.
Using VoxOx we can avoid the inconvenience of opening, for example, separate IM clients, or logging into different social-networking sites to keep in touch with our friends. VoxOx instant messaging offers the advantage of communicating with all of our contacts from Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, AIM, Google Talk, Jabber and Windows Live Messenger within one single program. It’s worth pointing out that IM is rather basic as regards customization, offering a limited number of options compared as those found in Windows Live Messenger, for example. So if you do not mind basic text conversations then you will find it very useful. As regards the email manager, we can send letters from Gmail, Yahoo!, Windows Live, and more. It can also be used to interact with sites like Facebook, MySpace and even YouTube. It manages contacts from the different social networks in only one ‘universal contact list’.
The program is easy to handle and the only requirement is to create an account. On the other hand, VoxOx looks absolutely cool, with a user-friendly interface, customizable and with lots of features to explore. In spite of a few shortcomings, like the excessive use of system resources, or constant error messages in this Beta version, it promises to be a good option for managing our social life on the web. |
